Adam B. Jones, Administrator

Biography:Prior to her position as the WIB Operations Coordinator, Amy has 13 years experience working as the Education and Marketing Specialist for the Warren County Soil and Water Conservation District.  During her time at the Soil and Water office Amy developed an education program that grew to service over 12,000 students yearly.  She also managed the marketing program, coordinated work groups and partnerships with local government agencies, zoos, local environmental entities and state committees. She collaborated with cities and townships for storm water education initiatives. Amy was also an active member on the Regional Stormwater Collaborative, which oversaw storm water marketing efforts in the Greater Cincinnati Area. Amy resides in Lebanon with her husband Mike and two kids. When Amy is not working for WIB she can be found watching her two kids play sports, enjoying the outdoors, or running.

Education:Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Adam B. Jones | Executive Director
Get to know the staff.

Biography:Adam Jones has been an active volunteer and member of the Workforce Investment Board since 2007.  Prior to assuming the role of Executive Director of the WIB in 2014, Adam's work history includes serving as the Assistant Director of the Butler County Department of Job and Family Services, overseeing OhioMeansJobs | Butler County, as well as the Children Services and Public Assistance divisions.  During his tenure with Butler County, Adam, along with a talented management team, led an effort to successfully restructure OhioMeansJobs | Butler County into a business-driven, economic development-based organization; ensuring the mission of the agency was focused on providing value-added services to businesses.  Outside of the Workforce Investment Board, Adam is a two-term Councilmember in the first ward of the City of Fairfield. In this position, Adam has served as the Acting Mayor and Vice Mayor.  Adam is also a former broadcaster of Big Band music in Southwest Ohio.  Adam and his wife Kelly reside in Fairfield, Ohio with their two daughters.

Education:Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, majoring in Management Information Systems with a concentration in Market Research and Analysis. Graduate of Stephen T. Badin High School.

Community Involvement/Affiliations: Parishioner Sacred Heart Church in Fairfield, volunteer for St. Rita's School for the Deaf , and member of the Ohio Workforce Association. Served on the following committees (City of Fairfield): Development Services, Community and Public Relations, Youth Government Advisory Board, Downtown Design Review Committee, Public Safety, Public Utilities, Parks and Recreation, Health Advisory Committee, Charter Review Commission.
